Step-by-Step: The Invisalign Journey
1. Consultation & Digital Smile Assessment
Your Invisalign journey starts with a friendly consultation at Bespoke Dental Lounge with Dr. Akhil Patel. During this visit, we’ll take the time to understand your smile goals, assess your oral health, and determine if you’re suitable for Invisalign.
We’ll take a 3D digital scan of your teeth using our advanced scanning technology—no messy impressions required! You’ll also get a preview of how your smile could look after treatment using a digital smile simulation.

2. Custom Aligner Creation
Using your digital scans and treatment plan, Invisalign’s lab creates a series of custom aligners made specifically for your teeth. Each aligner is slightly different and designed to move your teeth gradually and comfortably into alignment.
3. Wearing Your Aligners
Once your aligners are ready, we’ll invite you back in to fit your first set and talk you through how to wear and care for them. You’ll need to wear them for 20–22 hours a day, only removing them to eat, drink anything other than water, and brush or floss your teeth.
You’ll switch to a new set every 1–2 weeks, depending on your treatment plan.
4. Progress Check-Ins
You’ll return to Bespoke Dental Lounge every 6–8 weeks for quick review appointments. We’ll check your progress, answer any questions, and give you the next sets of aligners. This is also a great time to see how your smile is transforming.
5. Finishing Touches & Retainers
When your last aligner has been worn and your teeth have reached their final position, we’ll provide custom retainers to help maintain your new smile. Wearing your retainers as advised is essential to keeping your results long-term.
